With a name that was inspired by The Wreck of the Old 97, the Old 97s went from Texan bar band to one of the early pioneers of Alt-Country... or "Loud Folk", as some of the band members prefer to call their music. 'Fight Songs' is their fourth studio album, released in 1999.
