ELECTRONIC ROCK

I've been poking around a new genre called "Electronic Rock" and sometimes called "Industrial Metal" for about a month now. There aren't too many bands yet, and the scene is fleshed out with music from games and anime, as well as a few other venues. One thing that's good about it is that there are lots of loooong songs that you can put on in the background and get on with your gaming, or reading, or what have you. The rest of you are free to play whatever you'd like, but until I have at least a layman's understanding of algorithms I'm going to be playing this stuff and reading.

Also on this day in 1982, Ozzy Osbourne was arrested for pissing on the Alamo.  He was wearing a dress because his wife hid all his clothes so he wouldn't leave his hotel room.  Yeah, right.  Like that ever stopped Ozzy.

Pretty sure copious amounts of alcohol were involved.

I first thought of this thread as Halloween In February.  And why not?  Beats the hell out of Christmas In July.  Then I realized tomorrow was Fat Tuesday... Mardi Gras.  So consider this a twofer... Halloween In February and a Fat Tuesday thread.  Either way, it should be a good antidote for Valentine's Day.

Depending on my mood, sometimes a tune just goes down better without the thunder. But sometimes the thunder drives home the point. I thought it might be interesting to see some tunes from both points of view.
