That's right, it's Black Friday again. As is traditional, I charged the truck's battery and pulled it outta the garage so as to gain access to the attic.
And as usual, we drug the Xmas decorations down so the Missus can do her thing.
And, as I do every year, note the disrespect all the other colors seem to get this day.
The Yardbirds were an English band who may be best known for launching the careers of Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page. Clapton replaced their original guitarist in 1963. Two years later, when he left to play with John Mayall and The Bluesbreakers, Clapton recommended Jimmy Page as his replacement. Page turned down the offer, recommending Jeff Beck. Later, Page filled in on the bass for a few month before switching to guitar and trading licks with Beck.
'Roger The Engineer' was released in 1966. In my opinion, it's one of the best Rock 'N Roll albums of the era, featuring Keith Relf on lead vocals and harmonica; Jeff Beck on lead guitar (plus singing the lead on 'The Nazz Are Blue'); Chris Dreja on rhythm guitar and piano; Paul Samwell Smith on bass; and Jim McCarty on drums and percussion.

Answer: The Handsome Family.
Brett Sparks plays guitar and keyboards, does most of the singing and composes the melodies. Rennie Sparks plays bass and banjo, sings lead on a few songs and writes the lyrics.
Released in 2003, 'Singing Bones' is their sixth studio album.

On this day in 1975, the Edmund Fitzgerald went missing on Lake Superior. Since I live in Michigan and am a bit of a nerd when it comes to Great Lakes maritime lore, thought I'd take a moment to remember that fine ship and her crew.
I have another desktop folder labelled "save for later" full of music I saved for one reason or another, so I guess I was saving it for tonight. I'm sure each one will remind me why.
The short winter days would be bad enough without the damn time change. By changing the clock, it will start getting dark at five in the afternoon... about the time that most people are getting home from work. And they wonder why there's something called Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)?
Suppose I could look on the bright side. It's only seven more weeks before the days start to get longer.
Don't forget to change yer clocks this weekend. Someone once told me that only a white man would cut the top off his blanket and sew it to the bottom to make it longer. Anyway enjoy your extra hour of sleep.
This is Mrs.17's second post. If you don't like it You're clearly against education. Get the point?
