Roger The Engineer

The Yardbirds were an English band who may be best known for launching the careers of Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page.  Clapton replaced their original guitarist in 1963.  Two years later, when he left to play with John Mayall and The Bluesbreakers, Clapton recommended Jimmy Page as his replacement.  Page turned down the offer, recommending Jeff Beck.  Later, Page filled in on the bass for a few month before switching to guitar and trading licks with Beck.

'Roger The Engineer' was released in 1966.  In my opinion, it's one of the best Rock 'N Roll albums of the era, featuring Keith Relf on lead vocals and harmonica; Jeff Beck on lead guitar (plus singing the lead on 'The Nazz Are Blue'); Chris Dreja on rhythm guitar and piano; Paul Samwell Smith on bass; and Jim McCarty on drums and percussion.

You should be able to find the full album here or here
