Funkcronomicon

Bill Laswell likes to create what he calls "Collision Music", meaning he brings musicians from different backgrounds together to see what happens.

In 1995, using the name Axiom Funk, Laswell went into the studio with a group of musicians that included Herbie Hancock, Sly Stone and Buckethead; Abiodun Oyewole and Umar Bin Hassan of The Last Poets; Joseph 'Zigaboo' Modeliste of The Meters; and various members of Parliament and Funkadelic, including George Clinton, Bootsy Collins, Bernie Worrell, Maceo Parker, and guitar god, Eddie Hazel.  (This would be Hazel's final recording.)

The result was Funkcronomicon, one of the best damn albums ever.

If this doesn't get your blood and your bones going, then there's something wrong with you.
